We advise patients to stay out of the ocean and pool and avoid prolonged sun exposure for about one week. After the initial week, you are welcome to return to normal activities while the area continues to heal for about an additional four weeks. Depending on the size of the treated area and the depth of the mole removal, the spot may take up to three months to heal entirely.
